Tinos is the fourth largest island of the Cyclades (Area 194.3 sq. km.) After Andros, Naxos and Paros. He has 8,574 inhabitants (census 2001) spread across 62 villages. It belongs to the northern Cyclades, and is content. continuity of Andros and north-west. Mykonos.

The Tsiknias in the east is the tallest mountain on the island with 726 meters height.
