Parga is a coastal town located in the northwestern part of the prefecture of Preveza Margariti other province. It is built on amphitheatrically gilofou Pezovolos at an altitude of 139 m in the Ionian Sea. It has a population of 2,022 inhabitants. It is situated in the municipality of Parga which has a population of 3,846 residents and commercial and shipping center. It consists of the municipal departments Agias, Anthousa, Livadariou. |

 Since the 1950s peace was established, fund tax authority, Dasonomeiou, Customs, Bureau of Agronomists imigymnasio and primary schools. There was even perionymi from its many churches. On the right side of the city rises the famous medieval castle of Parga with many buildings in it, which protects the city from the sea (ND.). For the development of foundations in Parga is a remarkable legacy of B. Vasila. Previously Parga was also known by the fine Kitra produced nearby, called "Hebrew Kitra", exported to Europe and America. |
