Nafplion
Nafplio is a city or Associate of Peloponnisou.Nafplion was the first capital of modern Greece, capital of Argolis and the main port of the eastern Peloponnese. According to the census of 2001 had 13,822 inhabitants. It is one of the most picturesque cities in the country, and was the capital of Greece in the years 1828-1833.
It is known for Bourtzi small fort built on an island in the harbor, the Palamidi, Venetian fortress dominates the town and the place of the murder of John Capodistrias.
According to legend the location of the city founded by the Nauplios Nauplia which was fortified with Cyclopean walls. Archaeological finds prove the existence of the city from the Mycenaean few years. Nafplio is a popular destination for residents of Athens and the Peloponnese and is a little of both regions. In the most beautiful buildings of the city is building Armansmpergk (resident viceroy of Greece Armansmpergk) and the archaeological museum in the square. The city also operates the National Gallery Annex.

Bourtzi
Bourtzi or «Kasteli» by the Venetians, or «thalassopyrgos» War in 1821, is a small island in front of the port of Nafplion, directly across from the emplacement of epaktio «five - brothers», fully covered by the old Venetian Fortress payable and the name Fort tis.To this anagerthike by the Venetians after the departure of Mahmoud Pasha in 1473, providing it with modern firearms. Palamidi
The fort is in Palamidi Náfplion which was built in 1687 by the Venetians, after the conquest of the hill on which, after a fierce battle with the Ottomans in the War Venetotourkiko. The hill on which is a height of 216 meters and the ascent to be made either through Palamidi amaxitis road or via a staircase with 999 steps. In 1715, during the last War Venetotourkikou the conquered Ottomans after the blew part of the During the Greek Revolution of 1821, the Turks fortified the Palamidi but on 30 November 1822 the Greeks occupied after the battle in which the Staikos Staikopoulou the Moschonisiotis and 300 men.
