Florina, Ioannina, Kozani and Grevena in the hand of Greece and Albania on the
other. Last, a copy of an important Neolithic settlement that was discovered and
excavated at the end of last century in Dispilio, on the south shore of Lake

Greek writing.

The terrain is mountainous and the climate is
continental with cold winters and hot summers. The temperature shows large
shifts from winter to summer and winter are often below zero, so that the
surface of the lake usually freezes a few days each year.
The massif of the lines, the source of the river Aliakmonas, of great interest for the visitor of Kastoria. The lines of the most virgin forests in Greece. The area is sparsely populated and the main occupations of residents are logging, hunting and cattle fatteners. With excellent geomorphology and interesting and rich fauna and flora, the county offers hiking and wildlife photography |
