The beautiful beaches with sand dunes and strategic position between Methoni and Koroni Finikounda have one of the most popular seaside resorts of the prefecture. Do not imagine situations certainly cosmopolitan, but low-key holiday, after the main regulars are locals returning to their place of origin in the summer and foreigners seeking sea and silence. We will certainly miss the nightlife - the bars Theasis on a hill at the exit to Methoni is one of the prettiest of Messenia. The coastal perantzada, with palm trees, although with the caique and Elena known tavern on the edge, offers a quiet evening stroll. Closely in the rear you will find a few rooms and shops, among them one with facilities for windsurf (The region of the sports fan). Caique from the port to begin day trips to deserted islands across Schiza, Sapientza and Venice - the first and largest is covered by koumarodasos. |
