Holidaymakers come to Corfu in 1940, and indeed,

An international overproduction shot in Corfu was the James Bond film «For your eyes only». The patron saint of the island, Agios Spiridon, silver kept in the homonymous church crypt from the sixteenth century. Saint Spiridon was a bishop who lived in Cyprus in the third century and is believed to perform miracles. There are reports of algae found in the feet of the saint in the morning, making people to believe that San walk to the sea at night. |
