The ancients referred to Leonidion (or “Agie Lidi”, the local name in the Tsakoniki dialect) as the “Garden of Dionysus”.
Within this bountiful “garden”, we have created our small community using faithful examples of the local Tsakoniki architecture, blending native stone, wood and cast iron to create a unique and welcoming setting.
AGROKTIMA is a series of ten, independent stone guesthouses with slate-tile walkways guiding you to each entrance. Each unit includes a kitchenette with oak cabinets, fully equipped with dishes and cookware.
There are brass fixtures in the bathrooms, air conditioning, a cast-iron fireplace decorated with wood and stone accents, plasma television sets, traditional light fixtures, wooden rafters and hand-carved furniture.
The doors and window hinges are handmade, as are the crisply starched, embroidered curtains that adorn the windows. All of these touches will contribute to a very comfortable stay with us.
