The prefecture of Halkidiki is one of the 51 prefectures of Greece. It is one of the prefectures of the geographical partition of Macedonia belongs to the administrative region of Central Macedonia.

 The county is bordered V.VD. the prefecture of Thessaloniki and bordering the Aegean Sea in other directions. It includes the geographical peninsula of Halkidiki, the characteristic shape of the three peninsulas (feet Halkidiki ') except eastern peninsula of Mount Athos, which is administratively independent. The capital of the prefecture is Polygyros. |
